Remembrance Day at Poulton Le Fylde

10th Novemebr 2013

The wreaths for both West Lancashire Mark and for the South Fylde Group of Craft Lodges were laid by two Mark Masons.
Bro. John Gledhill of Imperial Mark Lodge No.1276 placed the West Lancs Mark wreath at the Cenotaph, in the town square at Poulton Le Fylde. John has just been accepted to become a Chelsea Pensioner, in the New Year, this does mean that he will have to move to Chelsea, so in future he could be visiting his Mark Lodge in that very distinctive scarlet and black uniform.
Bro. Alan Riley a Mark Master Mason, laid the craft wreath wearing his grandfather’s Victoria Cross awarded for outstanding bravery in the First World War.
